Agree the service, then measure delivery
How to turn a partnership scope into deliverables, responsibilities, approvals and completion evidence.
The service schedule
Before work begins, record each deliverable, its owner, the artist inputs it depends on, the approval decision, target date, revision limit, cost treatment and completion evidence. The signed project schedule governs; a public comparison is not an accepted offer.
Six scope classifications
Included means part of the accepted scope, subject to the agreed inputs. Eligible means it may be offered after review, not an automatic entitlement. Priority concerns coordination within an agreed schedule, not immediate access or an unqualified response guarantee.
Project-specific work requires its own brief, approvals and budget. Optional work may be declined without changing existing obligations. Not included means outside the base scope; any separate engagement needs explicit agreement. Future platform functions are availability notices, not contracted services.
Evidence of completion
For release preparation, retain the checked metadata and asset record and artist approval. For campaign work, retain the approved brief, delivered assets and review notes. For a website, use an acceptance checklist covering agreed pages, accessibility, listening links, ownership and handover. Record actual delivery, not a predicted commercial result.
When the scope changes
Record the change, reason, effect on dates and costs, and both parties' approval before additional work or spending. Delayed inputs may require a revised schedule. Do not assume extra releases, unlimited revisions, ongoing maintenance or third-party spend are covered.
Fit and capacity
Artanrecords is founder-led. A proposed tier is considered alongside delivery capacity; a narrower scope, later start or decline may be appropriate. Capacity review does not alter an existing signed agreement. Confirm the current schedule directly before planning a launch.
