Silver, Gold and Platinum partnerships

How Silver, Gold and Platinum partnerships work: release preparation, responsibilities, financial terms and agreement review.

A preference, then a review

Silver covers essential release infrastructure. Gold adds a defined release plan and selected presentation support. Platinum adds scoped release leadership and strategic reviews. These are levels of involvement, not rankings of artistic quality. Discuss your preference with Artanrecords; acceptance and scope require a written offer and agreement.

Prepare the work

Begin with a listening link and a short introduction. Before delivery, prepare finished masters, artwork, titles, credits, contributors and permissions. Keep private masters and identity, tax or banking documents out of the initial enquiry.

Record the responsibilities

The agreement identifies included services, responsible parties, approvals and timing. Accepted standard releases have no upfront base distribution fee. Additional costs need prior classification as included, artist-paid or recoupable. Paid media, third-party production and domains are not automatically free.

Read the financial terms

The written offer must define eligible master-side Net Receipts, artist and label shares, permitted deductions, reporting and approved expense treatment. The signed agreement governs, not a partnership name. Publishing and unrelated income remain separate unless expressly contracted. Master ownership remains with the artist under this partnership model.

Scope a standalone website

Gold eligibility and Platinum priority require a defined website scope. Record domain ownership, registration and renewal funding, hosting, maintenance, content responsibilities and handover. A label catalogue profile is separate from a standalone artist website.

Use operational services only when available

Studio accounts and private artist profiles are available. Creating an account does not approve an artist relationship or publish a profile. Release submissions, agreement access, signing, financial reporting and payouts remain inactive. Use the agreed direct communication process for current projects.

Agree the exit before delivery

Record the licence term, notice, final accounting, outstanding expenses, release migration and website handover before onboarding. Preserve identifiers and approved assets; coordinate delivery changes rather than deleting a release first. Continuity of playlists and service statistics is not guaranteed.

Recording partnership terms

These are default recording-partnership terms, not subscriptions or store commissions. Signed agreement terms take precedence. Publishing, live income, merchandise and unrelated income remain separate. Accepted standard releases have no upfront base distribution fee; additional expenses require explicit agreement.

Public percentage disclosure

Default commercial allocations are approved internally. Public percentage disclosure remains pending legal/accounting review. A partnership preference is not acceptance or an agreement.

Studio

€9.99/month or €99/year.

Manage your artist profile, prepare releases and organise store drafts in one workspace. Studio is included with an active Silver partnership.

Studio Pro

€19.99/month or €199/year.

For a broader website and business toolkit, according to the services available to your account. Studio Pro is included with an active Gold or Platinum partnership.

Access through your partnership

Silver includes Studio. Gold and Platinum include Studio Pro for the duration of the qualifying partnership, with no separate software subscription charge.

When your partnership ends, contact Artanrecords to discuss continued access. Your work is not automatically deleted, and no paid subscription starts without your consent. Recording agreements, software subscriptions and store sales have separate terms.
